| Timber Management - Our timber harvesting philosophy centers on a long-term view. We harvest timber in an environmentally sensitive manner, focus on minimizing the impact to the woodland, refuse to work the forest in wet weather, leave select large, highly valuable trees behind as "seed trees" for the future, consider the wildlife in the area and plan for the future of the forest on each property. |

maximize the timber that can be cut and money that can be made in
the short-term?? No. That isn't our goal. We want to own and manage
a property for the long-term. Thus, our timber harvesting and
woodlot management practices are different. |
